On the clock

I call myself a designer, but I have skill and passion for so many areas of computing - design , programming, the internet, usability, accessibility and troubleshooting.  I love design and I love when great design comes together with valid markup to deliver more than the sum of their parts and occasionally can’t believe people will actually pay me to do this for a living.  I’m originally from West Virginia (Go ‘Eers!) but I now live in Alexandria, VA with my wife, Ashley, and our two imaginary dogs.

Off the clock

I’ll be honest here, I love computers and the internet so I spend a good portion of my day in front of the screen, designing, researching, reading blogs and sometimes just mucking about. When I’m not in front of the screen I can be found playing on my Xbox 360, Wii or Playstation; baking awesomely great pastries; building my own computers; going to concerts and shows; wandering around the DC Metro area taking photographs; or spending time with my friends (usually involving one or more of the above).
